20 features in 20 days

In May 2026, our Founder and CEO, Martin Tanner, presented a series called “20 Features in 20 Days”: a video a day on our social channels, demonstrating the top 20 features of the slideAcross platform.

Today they're a great resource for new (and existing) users discovering what's available for their interactive, multilayered presentations. Enjoy!

In a brand new series, we explore 20 features in 20 days. How does slideAcross stand out against other presentation platforms? Find out here. This is episode #1, looking at our multilayered design.

The 2nd in our series of videos looking at key slideAcross features. This video explores how slideAcross creates a presentation from an uploaded document (perhaps a sales proposal or teaching material).

Episode 3 play_arrow

Real-time slide generation

We continue our series of short videos with a look at how slideAcross can generate slides in real time during a presentation. If your audience asks questions that you didn't expect, you can show them a rich, compliant slide with your answer.

Images

Episode 4 looks at how images can be inserted into your presentation - either uploaded directly or using AI creation.

Design and branding

Our fifth instalment of the “20 features in 20 days” series looks at how slideAcross enables your brand and design palette to be easily and seamlessly applied across your presentations - both your own creations and for every creator within your organisation.

Episode 6 play_arrow

We appreciate that many of our users wish to bring their PowerPoint presentations into slideAcross. This video examines two ways that this is possible.

Episode 7 play_arrow

Speech recognition and voice control

Episode 7 unpacks a real favourite feature of many of our users - speech recognition and voice control. See how slideAcross enables you to present and generate real-time slides hands-free.

Episode 8 play_arrow

Auto background creator

This episode looks at a simple but powerful feature - auto background creation. This enables your slides to look beautiful, with shapes and patterns generated in a single click.

Episode 9 play_arrow

Animations

Regardless of your thoughts on slide animations (and whether you love them or loathe them) it is useful to know that slideAcross has the features to support a range of options. Episode 9 of “20 features in 20 days” shows how it works.

Episode 10 play_arrow

AI controls

At slideAcross we know how essential AI governance and control is to any organisation. We use AI across many features in our platform and this video provides a very high level overview of the controls in place to ensure the output is compliant.

Episode 11 play_arrow

Separate audience and presenter views

One of our most requested features: discover 6 reasons why our users love separate views for the presenter and audience when adapting their presentations in real time.

Episode 12 play_arrow

Video

Episode 12 of our “20 features in 20 days” video series looks at how the use of video in presentations can keep audiences engaged, through the delivery of different communication styles for content.

Episode 13 play_arrow

Generating from a text prompt

If you are looking for inspiration for your presentation, slideAcross will create slides from a simple text prompt. You can do this whilst editing, or live during your presentation. You can even create an entire presentation from a text prompt.

Episode 14 play_arrow

Speech recognition configuration

Episode 14 of our “20 features in 20 days” video series... and we are taking a deep dive into the speech recognition configuration options. Discover how you can fine-tune the voice control to match your own preferences and style.

Episode 15 play_arrow

Sharing and licence types

In today's episode we explore how you can share your presentation with other users. This video takes a look at different user types (editors and viewer/commenters). It also explores our free tier and a feature to share the presentation using an access token.

Episode 16 play_arrow

Creating slides from a web address

Today's episode looks at how slides can be created from a URL or web address. You can either ask slideAcross to create a slide immediately, or you can add the web address (and linked sites) to a content library for later use. Alternatively, create an entire presentation from a website.

Episode 17 play_arrow

Layering a video conference

Episode 17 of our “20 features in 20 days” video series showcases a really useful feature. You can layer a video conference in your slide deck, which means you can seamlessly transition from your presentation to a platform demo by a sales engineer, a panel of invited guests or any other use case that you can imagine.

Episode 18 play_arrow

A new slide from existing content

Today we look at a great feature that turns existing slide content into a new slide. Two really beneficial use cases... (1) summarising long slide content into shorter bullets; and (2) articulating the key themes of an image or diagram.

Episode 19 play_arrow

Using a slideAcross template

Sometimes we just need our presentations to look beautiful at the click of a button. This video explores the in-built templates and design collections within slideAcross - and how they can be immediately applied to your own presentations.

Episode 20 play_arrow

Exporting from slideAcross

It's the final episode of our “20 features in 20 days” video series. Today we look at exporting from slideAcross - either by printing, exporting to PDF or exporting to PowerPoint (from which you can upload into tools like Google Slides or Keynote). This topic brings us full circle back to the principle of multilayered presentations - and why they are so powerful.

Seen enough to try it yourself?

Every feature in the series is waiting for you in slideAcross.
